Job purpose & Scope

1.     Provide technical advice on pipeline corrosion and related matters covering corrosion studies related to cathodic protection, intelligent pigging,  treatment , prevention, monitoring and analysis.

2.     Provide advice on material selection, chemical treatment and analysis on corrosion  for subsea pipelines and structures.

3.     Carry out and conduct corrosion analysis, studies and surveys on pipeline and structure to determine corrosion behavior.

4.     Develop routine and intelligence pigging programs and monitor outcome of the same.

5.     Review inspection reports for pipelines and structures and facilities to determine cause of corrosion.

6.     Provide technical advice on implementation of corrosion control measures and follow up/monitor the implementation phase.

7.     Provide material selection/analysis services to determine type of material to be used and determine its cause of failure.

8.     Prepare technical specification and design basis for cathodic protection projects

9.     Evaluate the adequacy/effectiveness of corrosion control systems on pipeline and structure.

10.  Carry out studies/analysis on the effect of corrosion due to changes in operations mode.

11.  Provide technical assessment on corrosion behavior considering the adequacy of chemicals, metallurgy and protection measures.

12.  Evaluate intelligent pigging survey results.

13.  Set up corrosion data management system for all subsea plant equipment/facilities.

14.  Provide technical assistance to prepare all corrosion related procedures.

15.  Carry out prequalification of corrosion contractors/consultants for inclusion in company' bidders list.

16.  Evaluate facilities integrity and determine their remaining life based on prediction models.

Minimum Requirements:

Job purpose & Scope

1.     Experienced in the engineering activities, from conceptual design to commissioning for the brown/green field onshore/offshore oil and gas projects.

2.     Manage / Administer Company Corporate Engineering Specifications discipline by discipline to reflect the International Codes for company use.

3.     Manage / Administer Engineering Business Process Outlines, Procedures and Standards to reflect the needs of the Engineering Department work instructions and activities related to quality control.

4.     Manage the following engineering documents format / structure, revision and specification reference completeness, for standardization in the Company:

a)     Scope of work / services for studies and projects.

b)    Material requisitions as part of the Commercial Department’s purchase requisitions for new equipment.

c)     Engineering packages, including specifications, datasheets, drawings etc.

d)    Vendor documentation.

5.      Act as the focal point for all Company Engineering Specifications and Coordinate with other departments, on the management of the Engineering Specifications.

6.     Ensure the Company Engineering Specifications and Department Procedures are available and up to date on the Company Intranet.

Minimum Requirements:

1.      Bachelor degree holder in Engineering (any discipline)

2.    Preferably have professional certification as Technical Author in Quality related documentation and / or as Certified Lead Assessor.

Job purpose & Scope

1.     At least 10 yrs experience in oil & gas engineering related to offshore and onshore pipelines (Predominantly Offshore Pipelines)

2.     Be competent to design, specify and review the engineering related to pipeline wall thickness, stability, cathodic protection, free spanning, riser design, pipeline and riser installation etc.,

3.     Be conversant with international standards and codes related to pipeline engineering such as DNV, ASME, API, BS, Shell DEP etc.,

4.     Experience equivalent to Lead pipeline engineer in a Engineering consultancy and EPC firms

Job purpose & Scope

1.     Experienced to carry out all Structural engineering activities, from conceptual design to commissioning for the brown/green field onshore/offshore oil and gas projects.

5.     Experienced in developing specifications, procurement documents(MR/PR etc.) for the structural items and providing procurement support activities for procurement of structural items.

6.     Having experience of reviewing  & approving  the engineering work of Consultant/EPCM/EPC/PMC Contractors and Vendors.

7.     Experienced in  preparation of scope of work for Engineering Consultant/EPCM/EPC/Construction Contractor etc, review their bids, issue clarifications, technical recommendation and support up to contract award.

8.     Participate and contribute in the review meeting viz: Layout review, HAZOP, HAZID, Value engineering, Constructability review etc.

Job Purpose & Scope

1.     Manage Civil construction activities and ensure works are performed in accordance with project specifications and required quality. 

2.     Quantity verification and Control for projects undertaken by EP Unit.  Ensure smooth coordination with EPP Project Engineer & Team Leader, Zirku site and Contractor so that project execution takes place within budgeted time and cost.

3.     Completion of project on time within budget schedule and quality.   

4.     Site Survey and taking measurements, quantities for existing civil/steel structures and electro mechanical items.                    

5.     Prepare Bill of Quantity and Budget cost at pre tender stage of project.

6.     Assist and coordinate in preparation of Scope of Work for the project.

9.     Monitor and Control Permit to Work (PTW) for all activities during construction at site.

Job Purpose & Scope

1.     Positively contribute to the planning and supervising of implementation of the company Health, Safety and Environment Management System including Emergency Programs and Plans. 

2.     Ensure clear and comprehensive understanding of the system, by giving advice and assisting Site Management.  Provide assurance that all significant hazards arising from operational activities are identified and controlled.  Investigate incidents/accidents.

3.     Assist Site Management in its advisory role on preventive measures to eliminate/reduce effects to Health, Safety and environment of personnel and installation.

4.      Provide advice on HSE matters to Site Supervisors; to assist them in their direct responsibility for Health, Safety and Environment by promoting their awareness to HSE issues to create and maintain HSE culture that supports the Health, Safety & Environment movement system.

5.      Monitor and control implementation of all procedures related to the maintenance and effectiveness of safety, lifesaving and emergency equipment and inspect work activities and equipment to ensure correct operation and that procedures are implemented.  Ensure that effective records are kept and updated for all equipment under his control.

6.      Coordinate and participate in applying risk management techniques to identify and evaluate HSE hazards/risks in UA field, its facilities and work activities and recommend measures to Site Management on measures to reduce them.

7.     Promote safe working systems and procedures.  Monitor and advise on proper application of "Permit to Work" system, conducting gas and atmospheric tests, participating in actual "Job Watch" as and where necessary; such as hot tapping, mechanical sealing/plugging, entry into dangerous confined spaces and ensuring that all Safety regulations and practices are adhered to.

8.     Liaise and coordinate with HSE Department/Technical on matters related to studying & commenting on engineering designs and drawings pertaining to modifications of plant, equipment, installations or projects works to ensure adherence to HSE rules, standards and codes of practice, during all phases of implementation on Site.

9.     Assist the man in-charge at the scene in case of emergency situations; investigate incidents resulting in injuries, property damage or near misses, to evaluate and determine causes and preventive measures.  Prepare reports and make recommendations including action plans to alleviate such situations and take preventative measures.  Maintain follow up to ensure adequate implementation of recommendations.

10.  Investigate incidents of oil or environmental pollution, and liaise with concerned departments to implement a cleaning programme; prepare reports on such incidents together with comments and observation.

11.  Coordinate, monitor, prepare agenda and follow-up the implementation of recommendations raised from the Site HSE committees, other HSE related meetings, and HSE  audit surveys by third parties.

12.  Develop training programmes in HSE principles and practices, including practical exercises; develop and assess orientation programmes aimed for promoting accident and fire prevention among personnel and supervise specific fire and emergency drills for site personnel.

13.  Ensure that mandatory safety, environmental and inspection records are updated and available at all times for inspection by Company auditors, Government inspectors and recognized agencies; prepare and discuss a variety of ad-hoc and regular reports and statistics

1.     Job Purpose & Scope:

·         Receive verbal or written assignment from Engineer, plan work, study appropriate documentation and procedures for repair & maintenance of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation. Diagnose faulty electronic or pneumatic instrumentation and establish requirements for tools and parts, and length of time, obtain necessary permits and carry out the repair or maintenance.

·         Install, maintain or repair a variety of electronic and pneumatic instrumentations and computers.

·         Test, calibrate and re-install repaired electronic and pneumatic instruments ensuring accuracy of operation and recording of data, both within a system or circuit, and in synchronization with others.

·         Modify configuration of DCS database as well as the PLC's programs, as instructed by Engineer.

·         Carry out preventive and routine maintenance schedules on all process units as instructed by Engineer and in accordance with maintenance procedures.

·         Fulfill and communicate HSE general and specific training requirements  to all UZ personnel without extinguishment.

·         As an UPPER ZAKUM HSE Training Specialist, he will be responsible for preparing, or compiling, reviewing, compiling, assessing, budgeting, developing and delivering to the work force.

·        The HSE training materials based on ZADCO HSE Annual Training Matrix requirements.

·        ZADCO acquired HSE accredited certificates required refreshers, promote HSE general awareness of work force, delivering special HSE inductions to new comers and deliver UZ specific HSE training needs e.g. refreshers in all HSE work related procedures.

·         Assist with curriculum development & review of in-house HSE training courses.

·        Define and advise on training material, equipments, periodicals and annual budget requirements.

·         Develop specific training programs and their execution plans to cover all concerned population to ensure compliance with the ZADCO HSE training Matrix requirements.

·         Conducts both theoretical and practical training sessions.

Job Purpose & Scope:

1.     Design and draft advertisements for publication in the local, regional and international press in accordance with the synopsis of the job description provided by the user departments and follow up with advertising agencies and obtain required approvals from the management.  Issue Requests for Quotation / CVs to local bidders in Abu Dhabi based on the nature of the job.

2.     Pre-screen applications received, call, test and interview applicants in coordination with the end users.   Execute bid analysis commercially and technically (pre-screening), ensure clarity of bidder’s proposal for quotations received.

3.     Conduct personal / telephone interviews and notify unsuccessful applicants and invite successful candidates for technical tests and further interviews as applicable.

Job Purpose & Scope:

1.     Contributes to the development and definition of project parameters (such as defining scope of work, schedule and completion and budgetary cost estimates) to ensures that projects are properly planned and meet user requirements.

2.     Prepares project execution strategy, method studies, cost evaluation and pre-project planning.

3.     Coordinates and assists the Senior Project Engineer in project contracts tender process from preparation of the CFT’s, Prequalification, Bidders List up to selection of the Contractors.

4.     Follows-up and coordinates the various contracts of the project to ensure interfaces are properly monitored to avoid delays to the project.  Proposes and implement remedial actions if necessary.

5.     Supervises the performance of Contractors for the project.

11. Progress time-depth and cost depth curves for the drilling phase.

2. Mentors less experienced engineers on ERD techniques, technology and drilling Performance.
3. Participates as requested in HAZOPS, SIMOPS and Risk Assessments.
4. Prepares cost estimates and AFE’s for the drilling phase.
5. Participates as drilling representative in the Well Delivery Process. Interacts with asset teams during well planning, execution and post-drill review.
6. Provides rig site technical assistance to Drilling Supervisors during critical drilling operations.
7. Trouble shoots operational and technical drilling problems.
8. Conducts follow-up assessments of drilling equipment selection and application.
9. Maintains close liaison with services companies’ engineers, and keeps abreast of recent developments in the area of well drilling technology, equipment, practices, etc.
10. Analyzes drilling performance and recommends changes in procedures and equipment based on findings. Participates in industry organizations such as SPE, API and/or IADC.
