ZADCO's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) provides the framework for managing HSE issues across the company. The objective of the HSEMS is to provide an integrated system that maintains and continually improves HSE performance, whilst ensuring the fulfillment of the UAE Legislation and ADNOC corporate requirements.
The updated version is in line with the new ADNOC HSEMS ADNOC CoP 1.09 HSE Management System. It consists of Eight elements, thirty two sub-elements, and a catalogue of eighty two critical activities. These are translated into working practices and procedures that collectively target specific issues associated with health, safety and environment.
The new HSEMS features are the following:
• Contribution in the sustainable development
• Inclusion of new activities such as drilling operation
• Introduction of Process Safety
• Continuous improvement
ZADCO's HSE performance is measured against a set of key performance indicators that form a part of the performance contract with its shareholders. Significant improvements have been made particularly in the areas of Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF's), Flaring, Emissions and Discharges where ZADCO has achieved world class performance rates. |
